Mike has over 40 years’ experience in the Timber and Construction Industry and applies this in both a Quantity Surveyor and Buyer capacity for the many varied projects that are presented to Global HSE for Passive Works, working with a range of small and large businesses and organisations all over the UK.
The old trade mantra of 5Ps (Proper Planning Prevents Pathetic Performance) is one that Mike firmly adheres to, and as such, he can be relied upon to assess every aspect and intricate cost of a project, to ensure that all materials and craftsmanship are of the highest standards, guarantee longevity, and are the most cost effective for the client. He is also often seen assisting with planning and schedules, whenever required.
Mike’s extensive background includes the provision of fire precaution works for a £1.6million project for Centre Parcs Sherwood Holiday Village and for 32 sheltered accommodation complexes for Sheffield City Council, amongst others. He has also been involved with a broad variety of small- and large-scale renovations and new build projects for councils, schools, hospitals, leisure facilities and housing associations during his career to date.
The commitment and interest he gives to the industry make for an essential part of the successful Passive Works deliverance that Global HSE is so widely accredited with.
