Senior Building Surveyor – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to lead our Surveying Team and Survey Co-ordinator, specialising in fire safety and building compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Degree in Building Surveying (HNC/HND or RICS-accredited) with MRICS or MCIOB membership
  • Detailed knowledge of Building Regulations, Fire Safety Act, Building Safety Act, and Defective Premises Act 1972.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with experience mentoring junior surveyors.
Construction Skills Trainer (Multi-Trade) (Bingham, Nottingham) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

With a brand new practical facility and training rooms Global Academy is expanding! We create and deliver Ofqual and ABBE-accredited qualifications, and we’ve created a new role to meet demand: Construction Skills Trainer. Based at our Global Academy in Bingham, you’ll train and mentor learners in a range of key trades.

Salary – £35k – £50k (DOE) & Company Vehicle
Hours – Full Time/Permanent
Location – Global Academy, Bingham, Nottinghamshire
Work Pattern: 50 % Academy-based / 50 % On-site

Qualifications and Requirements

Full UK driving licence
DBS checked
Minimum 3 years’ trade experience in carpentry, fire protection, dry lining, or related areas
Trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
Teaching / Assessing qualification (AET, PTLLS, TAQA or equivalent), or willingness to gain one
Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Contracts Manager (London) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager in the London area, to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, lead negotiations, and act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams.

We are looking for individuals with ideally 2 years’ experience within joinery/carpentry or Passive Fire Protection and are willing to travel around the UK.

NVQ Level 2 + 3 in Wood Occupations (Joinery) / Passive Fire Protection or similar

Project Coordinator (London) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking experienced Project Coordinators (Site Managers) in the London area, to oversee the execution of projects from initial implementation through to practical completion, ensuring adherence to current legislation, and managing/supporting site supervisors.

We are looking for individuals with at least 2 years’ experience within joinery/carpentry or Passive Fire Protection and are willing to travel around the UK.

Fire Door Joiner (Nationwide) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking experienced Fire Doors Joiners nationwide to carry out fire door installations and remedial works, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards. This work must then be accurately logged using mobile software.

We are looking for individuals with at least 2 years experience in joinery or carpentry and who are willing to travel around the UK.

Fire Stopper (Nationwide) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking experienced Fire Stoppers nationwide to seal penetrations using fire-resistant materials, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.

This work must then be accurately logged using mobile software. We are seeking individuals with at least 2 years of experience in Passive Fire Protection, who understand the principles of fire/smoke dampers and compartmentation and who are willing to travel throughout the UK.

Damper Installer (Nationwide) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking experienced Damper Installers nationwide to install, test, and maintain fire dampers, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and ventilation system regulations.

This work must then be accurately logged using mobile software. We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years experience in Passive Fire Protection and are willing to travel throughout the UK.

NAADUK Level 2 or equivalent
CSCS card is beneficial

Surveyor (Nationwide) – Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are seeking experienced Surveyors nationwide, to undertake site inspections relating to passive fire protection such as fire stopping, cavity barriers, fire doors, fire dampers and drywalls. This work must then be accurately logged using mobile software.

We are looking for individuals with at least 2 years’ experience within Passive Fire Protection and are willing to travel around the UK.
